Inomize Was Selected By OryxVision To Develop Its LIDAR Solution

Inomize, a leading provider of turnkey ASIC design solutions, announced today it was selected by Oryx-Vision to design the integrated circuit of its Laser-based object sensing solution for Advanced Driving Assistance Applications (ADAS) and autonomous driving.

Inomize analog team, together with Oryx’ engineers, will implement the company’s next generation FMCW LiDAR technology in an advanced ASIC solution that will enable superior vision capabilities for future vehicles.

The combined engineering teams developed a single mixed signal silicon chip that incorporates state of the art low noise trans-impedance amplifiers array with all the supporting circuits needed to shape and drive the large amount of data generated by the Oryx sensor.

“It’s a challenging project”, said Inomize CEO Udi Shaked, “and it perfectly suits our broad portfolio of ASIC capabilities, including analog, system design and verification”.

David Ben Bassat, Oryx’ co-founder and VP of R&D added: “Our technology is unique and our demands are very high. We looked for partners that can face non-trivial challenges with us, and Inomize team impressed us with its capabilities and its commitment. We are delighted to have Inomize as our ASIC designer”.
