Smithers, a leading provider of testing, consulting, information, and compliance services, has announced that Jeff Andrasik, General Manager of Product Testing, is presenting a webinar on how electric vehicle development is impacting automotive hoses and fluid transfer systems. The webinar is scheduled for Thursday, March 12, 11:00 EDT. Register here.
On the webinar, Andrasik will share valuable data on the current landscape of the electric vehicle market, including consumer attitudes, market sizing projections, and forecasts on market penetration in different regions. He will explain what this shift toward electrification will mean for a variety of hose types, including how their role, materials, and construction will change. Special attention will be paid to hoses and assemblies for battery thermal management. Finally, Andrasik will discuss the changes in hose testing standards and share a few key examples, including images of testing setups and configurations.
“With so many years of experience working with automotive hoses, Jeff can offer a lot of insight into this industry, even as it evolves so rapidly,” said Dr. Jim Popio, Vice President for North America, Materials Science & Engineering, Smithers. “Anyone who attends this webinar will walk away with a better understanding of how electric vehicles are changing the landscape and more confidence when it comes to navigating those changes.”
The webinar is free to attend. A recording will be released afterward for those who are unable to attend. The webinar is scheduled for Thursday, March 12, 11:00 EDT. Register here.
