From fibers to finished textiles, Techtextil North America and Texprocess Americas are known as the largest event for materials, equipment, technology, services and more for the entire technical textiles, nonwovens and sewn products supply chain. The two events will reunite the industry in Atlanta May 17 – 19, 2022. Due to the cancellation of the 2020 event due to COVID-19, this will be the first co-located edition since 2018.
The themes for the 2022 editions are “Integrating Technology” and “Fueling Innovation,” emphasizing the events’ reputations as catalysts for modern textile manufacturing. Each show’s features will highlight the important contributions of product and process innovators moving the industry forward.
Techtextil North America assembles industry and academic experts in a collaborative business environment to stimulate industry advancement through material science and engineering, while Texprocess Americas highlights advanced machinery, equipment and information technology to promote efficiency and sustainability throughout the supply chain.
The two-in-one event creates a unique platform representing the entire global textile value chain – from high-tech textile products and fibers, functional apparel fabrics, smart textiles, composites, and nonwovens, to the technologies involved in the processing of textiles, including design, cutting, sewing, knitting, embroidery, finishing, refining, IT and logistics. At what has become one of the most sought after trade events for the textiles industry, visitors will have access to a vast array of products, technologies and solutions across verticals including fashion and apparel, interior design and upholstery, military and protective products, automotive and aerospace, medical and more.

Educational Symposiums

Techtextil North America’s 2022 program is developed in partnership with the School of Materials Science and Engineering (MSE) at the Georgia Institute for Technology, and will feature three days of sessions with topics covering the latest advancements in technical textiles and nonwovens for a wide range of applications. The Texprocess Americas Symposium program, designed in collaboration with leaders of industry, will include sessions highlighting exciting innovations in manufacturing technology, the latest trends affecting the sewn products and apparel supply chain, and insights into the future of manufacturing.

Show Floor Education
The Academy, a feature area combining the previously named Tech Talks and The Lab, will house
Techtextil North America’s robust show-floor education. Throughout the three days, The Academy will
feature a lineup of complimentary presentations, demonstrations, and discussions covering groundbreaking technical advancements and highlighting the latest in textile testing for applications across industries.
New to the Texprocess Americas show floor, The Studio will house complimentary educational sessions related to product design and development, manufacturing and more. Stay tuned for the release of the full schedules and speaker lineups.
Student Research Poster Program
The Student Research Poster Program has become a must-see show floor attraction at Techtextil North
America and Texprocess Americas. Featuring the latest scientific developments in technical textiles,
nonwovens and sewn products design and manufacturing, The Program attracts students from across the globe who are involved in both undergraduate and graduate level research and textile innovation.
Participating students will have a platform to share their research findings with peers and potential
employers/sponsors on the show floor, and could even be selected to present their research in front of a captive audience during the three days of Tech Talks. The program is currently accepting applications, more information can be found here.
Registration
Visitors are encouraged to register in advance not only for financial savings but to ensure a seat in the
Symposium, and for minimal wait times during on-site badge pickup. The Official Techtextil North America & Texprocess Americas Reception will take place on the second evening of the show, May 18, 2022 and does have a capacity limit, so all parties are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance.
