Multi-constellation GNSS positioning, navigation, and tracking Click from MIKROE includes free six-month license of Skylark Precise Positioning Service

Through a partnership with Swift Navigation, a leader in precise positioning technology, MIKROE, the embedded solutions company that dramatically cuts development time by providing innovative hardware and software products based on proven standards, MIKROE brings the Skylark® Precise Positioning Service to its GNSS 19 Click (SE868K5-D variant) Click board™. GNSS 19 Clickis a compact add-on board designed for multi-constellation GNSS positioning, navigation, and tracking in demanding outdoor environments. This board is based on the SE868K5-D, a standard dual-frequency multi-constellation GNSS module from Telit Cinterion, which provides superior accuracy by using multiple frequency bands and constellations simultaneously.

Skylark is a global, cloud-based GNSS correction service that delivers reliable centimetre-level accuracy for applications spanning autonomous navigation, agriculture, construction, and micromobility, backed by carrier-grade networks and Service Level Agreements. Explains Nebojsa Matic, CEO of MIKROE: “We signed the agreement with Swift Navigation to make GNSS solutions more accessible to a broader audience. To speed the adoption of this technology, the GNSS 19 Click (SE868K5-D variant) ships with a 6-month free trial of Skylark – worth between $150 and $350 per account – enables engineers to evaluate designs and make changes with no upfront cost. After the trial, Skylark services continue from just $29/month per device.”

The Telit Cinterion module at the heart of the GNSS 19 Click (SE868K5-D) combines GPS/QZSS and Galileo in the L1/E1 and L5/E5 bands, GLONASS in the L1 band, BeiDou in the B1 and B2 bands, and SBAS support to improve positioning accuracy and reduce multipath effects in dense urban areas. The board features NMEA data output, raw measurement support, AGNSS ephemeris injection, local short-term ephemeris prediction for faster TTFF, selectable UART or I2C communication, USB-to-UART boot support, and more. Applications include fleet management, e-mobility, road tolling, automotive telematics, cellular base stations, wearable sports monitors, drones, and other GNSS-based positioning systems.
