NAVTEQ has recently announced the availability of digital map data in Eastern Europe for the following countries: Albania, Macedonia, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Serbia & Montenegro. The maps for these countries cover over 6,100 km of roads.

To date, NAVTEQ maps of this Eastern Europe region cover over 67,600 km of roads and contain more than 7,000 Points of Interest. Major road networks provide effective connection between Western Europe, Greece and Bulgaria, and to fifty-four major cities within the region.
