Pickering Interfaces, the leading supplier of modular signal switching and simulation solutions for use electronic test and verification, will showcase its HIL sensor simulation demo, alongside its recently released graphical software design tool for signal switching and cabling systems, Test System Architect, on stand #2459 in Exhibit Hall A & B at the upcoming SATShow Week 2026, taking place from Tuesday 24th to Thursday 25th March at Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, DC, USA.
The HIL sensor simulation demo is housed in Pickering’s 8-slot Gen3 PXIe full hybrid modular chassis (42-924), featuring an intelligent chassis management system that monitors the power supply voltage, internal temperature, and cooling fan speed. Inside the chassis, there are several Pickering PXI modules, including:
· PXIe embedded controller (43-920)
· PXI millivolt thermocouple simulator module (41-760)
The demo also features a thermocouple sensor from Omega and a data logger from Pico.
Test System Architect is a free online graphical toolset designed to simplify signal path design for electronic test systems, allowing engineers to design, configure, and visualize complete test architectures before deployment. The new toolset helps accelerate design time, eliminate errors, and simplify documentation across the test lifecycle.
Space has never been more fundamental to security and modern economies, as space infrastructure is vital to defence, communications, navigation, finance, energy, and emergency response. Anchored by the flagship SATELLITE event and enriched by the dedicated GovMilSpace event, SATShow Week is where the entire satellite ecosystem converges. One of the industry’s most comprehensive and globally recognized events, it brings together commercial leaders, engineers, government and military decision-makers, innovators, and end-users from 110+ countries for a week of business, insight, and collaboration in Washington, DC.
“Equipment destined for use in space demands absolute precision because the harsh operating environment means that the smallest discrepancy can lead to catastrophic mission failure,” said Steven Edwards, Head of Product Management at Pickering. “Equipment must reliably perform under extreme temperatures, pressures, and vibrations while seamlessly integrating complex systems to ensure flawless operation. This means that test professionals in the rocket, satellite, and space industries face unique challenges and demand nothing less than excellence. With deep expertise in industry-standard COTS PXI, LXI, and USB switching, simulation, and instrumentation for rocket, satellite, and space test systems, Pickering ensures that test systems are reliable, efficient, repeatable, and scalable.”
Also on booth #2459, Pickering will display:
· Small LXI microwave turnkey demo (60-891)
· 4-slot LXI/USB modular chassis (60-105)
· PXI power relay module (40-166)
· PXI RTD simulator module (40-262)
· PXI 6-channel battery simulator module (41-752)
· PXI LVDT/RVDT/resolver simulator module (41-670)
· PXI millivolt thermocouple simulator module (41-760)
Along with its switching and simulation solutions, Pickering will also show reed relays from its relay division and custom cable assemblies from its connectivity division.
