Pioneer Electronics (USA) Inc. is set to wow the crowds at CE Week 2015 with the coolest in-vehicle tech including the Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ compatible NEX in-dash receivers. CE Week, June 22-26, is New York City’s largest consumer electronics (CE) and technology event. The event brings together top media, industry analysts and technology thought leaders for innovative product debuts, a robust conference program and networking events all focused on innovative trends in the high tech world.

Beginning on Tuesday, June 23, attendees of the Connected Car Conference can enjoy a special media lunch and briefing sponsored by Pioneer from noon – 1 p.m. Following lunch, at the Connected Car Conference, Ted Cardenas, Vice President of Marketing for Pioneer Electronics, will be speaking on the panel “Using Tech to Protect and Serve Urban Commuters.” Throughout the afternoon, Pioneer will be conducting Android Auto and Apple CarPlay in-vehicle demonstrations on an AVIC-8100NEX unit at the Metropolitan Pavilion from 1 – 3:15 p.m. and 4:45 – 7 p.m.
Pioneer will bring the latest smartphone connectivity for the vehicle to CE Week Exhibits and Conferences, June 24-25. Pioneer is the first manufacturer to offer both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay on its aftermarket in-dash receivers. Both iOS and Android compatible offerings will be demonstrated at Pioneer’s booth (#44) on 2015 NEX receivers installed in two Scion IQs and two soundproof demo booths, built specifically to simulate the in-vehicle environment.
In addition to exhibiting at CE Week Exhibits and Conferences, Pioneer will also hold a press conference and present on the CE Week demo stage on Wednesday, June 24. The Pioneer press conference will be held at 11:30 a.m. on the 2nd floor of the Metropolitan Pavilion and will discuss the impact of the smartphone on the revival of the car audio industry. At 3:30 p.m. Pioneer will take to the CE Week demo stage in the Networking Lounge for a 15-minute demo of the smartphone connectivity options of their NEX line of receivers, including Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
