Renault optimises vehicle durability tests and analysis processes

Faced with a rapidly evolving industry and ambitious innovation goals, global automotive manufacturer, Renault needed to optimise its durability analysis process and deploy standard processing methods across its organisation.

To achieve this, Renault implemented a unified approach to durability testing and simulation by deploying nCode GlyphWorks – supplied by test and measurement specialist Hottinger Brüel & Kjær (HBK) – across key departments, which resulted in standardised workflows, stronger team expertise, and significant time savings.

As the company’s previous durability data processing relied on several fragmented software tools, Renault partnered with HBK to deploy its nCode GlyphWorks – combined with DesignLife – which enabled a unified environment for both test data analysis and CAE-based durability simulation across engine, body structure, and chassis teams.
