Brembo was named a GM Supplier of the Year by General Motors during its 25th annual Supplier of the Year awards ceremony held Friday, March 31 in Orlando, Florida. Â

GM recognized 118 of its best suppliers from 15 countries that have consistently exceeded GM’s expectations, created outstanding value or brought new innovations to the company. The announcement represented the most suppliers GM has recognized since debuting the Supplier of the Year event in 1992. This is the second time Brembo has received the award.

To receive this prestigious award reinforces Brembo’s position as a key supplier to General Motors and we look forward to continuing to design and engineer the best brakes for General Motors vehicles.”

Winning suppliers were chosen by a global team of GM purchasing, engineering, quality, manufacturing, and logistics executives and selected based on performance criteria in Product Purchasing, Indirect Purchasing, Customer Care and Aftersales, and Logistics.

Brembo supplies brake calipers and rotors on the full-line of Cadillac ATS-V and CTS-V performance cars and Cadillac ATS,CTS, XTS,CT6 as well as on the Buick Regal GS. The company supplies its carbon ceramic braking system on the Chevrolet Corvette Z07 and Grand Sport, in addition to its calipers and cast iron rotors on the remaining Corvette line. The high performance variants of the Camaro also carries Brembo braking components in carbon ceramic and cast iron.
