RMT Robotics, a Cimcorp Oy company that manufactures and integrates robotic gantry-based order fulfillment and tire handling solutions, announced today that it has joined the Muratec Group as part of the acquisition of Cimcorp Oy (Cimcorp) and its subsidiaries by Kyoto, Japan-based Murata Machinery, Ltd. (Muratec). Together, the companies will provide best-in-class material handling solutions to a global client base. Both Muratec and Cimcorp will continue business operations going forward with no change to their current strategies.

Ulvila, Finland-based Cimcorp, with estimated 2014 revenue of €60 million (CA$84.7 million / US$75.65 million), is the top supplier for intralogistics in the tire industry and has unique solutions for a variety of retail and distribution customers.
