With ACMA, Messe Frankfurt has now gained another experienced strategic partner abroad Automechanik

The range of Automechanika trade fairs in the world continues to grow. With ACMA Automechanika New Delhi, which will take place from 7 to 10 February 2013, Messe Frankfurt will be offering exhibitors and visitors access to a market which is proving to be one of the most interesting markets of all. The fair will be held in Pragati Maiden, in Halls 8,9,10 and 11. Member of Messe Frankfurt’s Executive Board, Detlef Braun explained, after signing two declarations of intent: “In ACMA, we have found a partner, who will make our new Automechanika in New Delhi into a leading event for the sector in the region. Moreover, the association will help us to get our portfolio of Automechanika fairs better known among its members.”

ACMA represents over 600 companies, which together constitute the lion’s share of the total production of motor vehicle components in India. On the internal market they deliver to vehicle manufacturers, direct suppliers, state-owned vehicle operators, defence institutions, the railways and the spare parts market. Additionally, a variety of components are exported to OEMs worldwide and to the after-market.

Raj Manek, CEO of Messe Frankfurt Trade Fairs India Pvt. Ltd., adds: “ACMA will recruit exhibitors from India, above all, its own members, and make contact with trade and professional visitors from India, whilst Messe Frankfurt India (MFI) is responsible for attracting international exhibitors and visitors. MFI and ACMA will present Indian manufacturers of motor vehicle components and similar companies to an international audience via the network of Automechanika fairs, particularly within the framework of a special exhibition by ACMA members at the Frankfurt fair, as well as at other international Automechanika fairs.”
