Thailand Is Preparing for the Renowned ASEAN Auto Parts Trade Fair: ‘TAPA 2012’

Applications will be accepted through Nov. 30th, 2011

Thailand is once again hosting “TAPA 2012,” one of the largest auto parts trade shows in the entire region. Thai entrepreneurs are invited to participate and exhibit their innovations and new product designs for vehicles, auto parts, spare parts and accessories. This year’s theme is “Automotive Technology Innovations for a Sustainable Environment.” The application deadline is Nov. 30th, 2011.

Mrs. Nantawan Sakuntanak, Director-General of the Department of Export Promotion, said the Thailand Auto Parts & Accessories 2012, or TAPA 2012, is organized by the “Department of Export Promotion” together with the “Thai Auto-Parts Manufacturers Association.” Visitors in the trade will arrive from many countries throughout the world to participate in the fair – this is a wonderful opportunity for exhibitors to reinforce Thailand’s position as the emerging automotive manufacturing hub in this region. The fair will also provide great opportunities for trade negotiations, public relations and for launching innovative technological products and new services to prospective buyers. It will also be a time to catch up with automotive industry trends.

“TAPA 2012 will be held from April 26-29, 2012, covering an area of 15,000 sq. m. at the Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Center (BITEC), Bangna, Bangkok, Thailand. This year’s concept will be ‘Automotive Technology Innovations for a Sustainable Environment.’ ‘Green’ innovations and new products will be presented which have been designed to reduce pollution and global warming. These products will also save energy and be environmentally friendly. Leading Thai and foreign companies will all be there. The fair is expected to attract manufacturers, importers, distributors, retailers and purchasing agents in the automotive industry, as well as more than 16,000 visitors from Thailand and overseas,” Mrs. Nantawan said.

TAPA 2012 is now accepting applications from manufacturers, exporters, selling agents, suppliers and sub-contractors of OEM/REM parts. We invite entrepreneurs in the automotive, auto parts, spare parts and accessories industries in Thailand and overseas to take part in the success of TAPA 2012. Exhibitors can apply as of today through Nov. 30th, 2011. Tel. 02 507 8374 – 78 or the Department of Export Promotion hotline: 1169.
