Veteran Auto Electronics Executive Tom Metzger Joins ATX

ATX Group, one of the world’s leading providers of customized connected vehicle (telematics) services to global automobile manufacturers, today announced Tom Metzger, a veteran of the automotive electronics industry, has joined as senior vice president over the company’s global sales and account management functions.

Metzger comes to ATX after a distinguished 24-year career at Harman Becker Automotive Systems, the automotive division of Harman International, a worldwide manufacturer and distributor of high-quality, high fidelity audio/video products and systems for the professional, consumer, and automotive markets.

Most recently, Metzger was vice president of Harman Becker’s Asian business unit, with responsibility for managing multiple, Japanese and Korean automobile manufacturers that operate globally. He also partnered with clients to establish and develop successful global strategic brand partnerships.

Metzger holds a bachelor of science degree in marketing from Oakland University (Mich.).
