TriMas Corporation has announced its towing and cargo management subsidiary in Australia (TriMas Corporation Pty Ltd. – TriMotive) was recognized by Toyota Motor Company Australia for their superior contribution and drive in the areas of innovation and technology. TriMotive was presented with the President’s Design & Development Excellence Award at a special event for their top suppliers earlier this month.

TriMotive was eligible to receive this award based on the Toyota Supplier Assessment score which measures performance in the areas of delivery, quality and price. Through its Kaizen activities, TriMotive made significant improvements in its manufacturing processes which enabled Toyota to reduce inventory and improve productivity.
