Quickparts (http://www.quickparts.com) announced that it has made the 2007 Deloitte Technology Fast 500, a ranking of the 500 fastest growing technology, media, telecommunications and life sciences companies in North America. Rankings are based on percentage of fiscal year revenue growth over five years, 2002-2006. Quickparts grew 1300 percent during this period.
Ronald L. Hollis, PhD, Quickparts President and CEO, said, “In the product development market, Quickparts has successfully gone from a start-up company to one of the top providers of custom parts and procurement technologies. With 1300 percent growth, we are continuing our record as one of the fast-growth success stories in North America and acknowledged innovators in product development communities.”
Quickparts has successfully streamlined the RFQ and sourcing process, allowing purchasing managers and part designers to buy parts online 24×7.
“Traditional methods of buying and sourcing parts take too much time, leave lots of room for error and are often a bigger hassle than anticipated,” continued Dr. Hollis. “By using our patent-pending
QuickQuote(R) instant quoting technology, Quickparts is an entirely new way of sourcing custom-manufactured plastic and metal parts online.”
In addition to ranking on Deloitte’s Technology Fast 500, Quickparts ranked Number 15 on Georgia’s Technology Fast 50 Program, which is a ranking of the fast 50 growing technology firms in Georgia.
“Deloitte’s Technology Fast 500 recognizes technology companies who have achieved extraordinary growth in North America’s most innovative and competitive sectors,” said Phil Asmudson, vice chairman, U.S. Technology, Media and Telecommunications, Deloitte & Touche USA LLP. “We congratulate Quickparts on this significant accomplishment.”
Quickparts provides custom manufacturing services for engineers and designers who want to create plastic and metal parts from 3D CAD (computer-aided design) models.
