TI Automotive’s Fuel Systems Division has earned awards for quality from three major automakers — DaimlerChrysler, Volkswagen Group and Honda.
DaimlerChrysler presented TI Automotive and the company’s Ossian, Ill., plant with its Gold Star Award for Quality for outstanding product quality and on-time delivery in providing fuel tanks for the Jeep Grand Cherokee and Jeep Commander.
Volkswagen Group honored TI Automotive’s Bielsko Biala, Poland, facility with the VW Group Quality Award for the supply of fuel tanks for the Volkswagen Caddy assembly plant in Poznan, Poland. TI Automotive was one of only four companies recognized by VW for the quality of its worldwide supply base.
Honda in Brazil recently awarded TI Automotive with its Automoveis do Brasil’s Quality and Delivery Performance Merit Certificate for its outstanding product quality and on-time delivery performance. The award was presented to TI Automotive’s Cacapava, Brazil, plant that provides components for the Honda Fit.
“These awards underscore TI Automotive’s commitment to quality in all places and in all phases of its business around the world,” says Brian Lindsay, president of TI Automotive’s global fuel systems division. “We are very proud of our employees; it is their focus on process that helps generate this kind of praise and recognition from our customers.”
